Champagne Reception at Epernay, France
To begin the start of the new year, the Band
played an Epiphany Concert at St Michael's
Church in Sydenham, and held another successful
evening concert on 2nd March at St John's
Church in Penge. Several of the Band's
players took part in a day of Brass event
at The Hawth in Crawley on 23rd June and
their Summer Diary was full, with a variety
of engagements ranging from playing at Summer
Fayres and Victorian Days, to seaside Bandstands.
The band visited Epernay, the capital of
the Champagne district in France during August.
